Masters Race

This weekend the New Zealand Masters Athletic Championships are being held in Timaru. This is from the Women's 100m.  Masters Athletics age starts at 35 for Women, unofficially  35 for Men Officially 40 for Men. At a recent Coaches forum, the biggest group of new Athletes to our sport is in the Masters age group. A point of interest about my group most are in this category. Glenda recently ran a PB of 60.09 for 10km  ( 63) Debbie 20km Trail Race 1st 2:21.00 W 55-64 (59). When you look at this and other things age is no barrier.
