8.1C dry grey morning then a spell of heavy rain. Light SW/SSE breeze increasing to SSE wind to 33 mph with gusts to 46 mph by early afternoon.

Fergus and I went for our walk after lunch. We went round to the harbour, had a wander round the old quay, and out along the shore side of the park. The rain was very heavy so we only went as far as we had to then turned and came back the same way then along the street side of the park and came home through town passing the town hall and the bookshop (open).
