Bikes and Ukes

at the Carole Nash Motorcycle Show in the RDS (Royal Dublin Showgrounds).

I have never seen so many black leathers, beards, tattoos, piercings and bandanas in the one place.

I really came to see the Dublin Ukulele Collective perform and to support GROW (mental health services and suicide prevention in Ireland).

After a challenging week - which I am glad is over - the DUCs got my toes tapping and me singing along with them. They played songs that I like. It was good to see the bikers singing along too and there was a lot of generosity shown to the collectors.

I haven’t taken any photos for days and it’s good to be back snappin. Apologies for not replying to comments recently and belated thanks for stars and hearts

I took about 50 photos and lots of good ones but I like this one of one of the collectors. He was a sweet man and I think he has a gentle expression.

Well done DUCs for supporting positive mental health in Ireland.

I am due to fly to London tomorrow to spend some time with daughter. This trip was planned last December and we both have time off work. But oh dear after tropical sunshine last week, Freya is blowing into town. She is whipping up a bit in Dublin but only a little so far. I am so looking forward to this trip and seeing my daughter. Freya can you please blow yourself out quickly and let me enjoy my trip.
