Growing old disgracefully

By GOD

LIGHT

Busy day with the ten year old.  We turned bananas into meerkats, apples into clowns, buried potato men in the garden and built protective bubbles for his favourite toys.  Later, he shopped for the ingredients of a roast chicken dinner and made it from scratch -steamed sprouts and carrots, roast potatoes, gravy, stuffing and all.  He took it home proudly to share with his mum.   I am gradually introducing him to more complex meals so he can help mum as she finds many things difficult.

Later I was presented with an awkward dilemma.  It is a quandary where you are bound to lose whatever you do, even if you do nothing at all.  Thankfully, I have some very sage advisers.
