Work in progress...development
Sorry to blip the same thing twice in one week - although its a bit further on than last time.
The problem being that today I went into work (yes I know, its half term, I am supposed to be OFF work) as I needed to check my classroom, and do some things that needed me to be in school. Got there at 10 this morning, left at 3.45...almost a full bloody day for me that is!!! And I didn't take my camera so missed blip opportunities a plenty!
My new classroom is absolutely awesome. I'll blip it next week...the kids are going to love it. So that made my day. And I did manage to get a whole pile of work done, which has potentially eased my workload for next week (but we'll see!)
Corin's birthday today so it was birthday curry for tea (i.e. normal Friday night tea, but we added the word birthday to it!), cards and presents (I know my Nana likes Corin, because she signed her card "love from Nana" instead of her first name. In fact, Corin got a very nice personal message...I think Nana sees a bit of Grandad in Corin...she does spend more time talking to Corin on the phone than she does with me these days!), and then a bit of Top Gear, My Name is Earl and the Creature Comforts Christmas Special on DVD. James is absolutely zonked out - he's been out all day again today and he hasn't stopped apparently.
Spent a couple of hours painting this evening...not there yet with it, but its coming along. Development work on the painting
Haircut in the morning - gone a bit shaggy. Then off to the cinema. Then James is going to do some research for his homework - to create a booklet about Evacuation of children during the second world war. He's not going to be happy with me - he IS very interested in the subject, in fact he is fascinated by the World Wars (very much into his history which is fantastic as far as I am concerned). However, homework is not his favourite thing...let battle commence (so to speak!)
