St Serf's Church...
Backblip
After a late(ish) night, we all had a fairly leisurely start.
Agnes and Adrian headed off after brunch and David and I decided that since it was a fine looking day (after the high winds of Storm Freya during the night) we would take Lola out in the car and head off wherever the mood took us.
Unfortunately by the time we cleared up the breakfast stuff and had a coffee, the bright skies had dulled and the notion of going out had kind of left us, but knowing the fresh air would do us good, we went anyway.
Actually I had an idea of where I wanted to go to take photos but when we got there, the subjects of my planned photo shoot had gone. Typical. Thankfully David remembered from his commuting to St Andrews days that there was a farm shop and coffee shop a few miles up the road so we headed there for coffee and a scone.
I have to say that although the coffee and scone were fine, the location, the building and the surrounding area were a bit of a disappointment so I don't think we'll be rushing back. I did buy some of their lovely organic portobello mushrooms but felt almost £4 for a cauliflower was taking the piss Michael slightly so didn't buy one.
Home to make Jamie Oliver's steak sarnie for dinner and fall asleep in front of the tv. Bliss :-))
Only took about 5 photos when we were out and about. Decided to blip St Serf's Church in Dunning, which is home to the Dupplin Cross. Both of these are jewels in Perthshire's crown and well worth a visit if you are ever in the area.
