Promise of a good day

Just back from a short trip to the Lake District I have back blipped Sunday and Monday). It was a wet and dull morning but after a hearty breakfast (well it's rude not to) we set off for a stroll from Skelwith round Elterwater. Skelwith force has always been a favourite of mine and the weather improved as the morning went on, we even saw this rainbow which appeared and disappeared over and over again! I have had trouble deciding what to post so a small collection today!
We headed home late afternoon and were treated to a lovely stew followed by pancakes at my daughter's house which is finally finished and very beautiful - the start of a new era!
