Udderly beautiful

I was up at the cowshed just prior to the start of milking this evening, and while the shed was being set up, I quickly took this photo of a cow's udder.

We had the boys end of year school prize giving this morning. It was delightful watching all the children doing their end of year Christmas play/dance - they all did an extremely wonderful job, especially the younger students. Certificates and trophies were also presented to students.

School has now finished for the summer holidays - the boys don't go back until the 5th February 2013. That's seven and a half weeks of not having to get up with the alarm, do lunches and get them to school. Routine has just gone out the window at our house!
