To cheer the day
It has been a very dark and very wet and rather cold day.
Mum and I went to P's funeral in Haydon Bridge Chapel. Thankfully it was bright and warm in there - this is where Methodists tend to excel, plus the sense of celebration and the lusty singing. As funerals go it was a good one.
Afterwards it poured down. It was far too dark to attempt any photography outside, that's assuming I wanted to.
Determined to avoid the emergency blip scenario I decided to play with oil and water. I had to fiddle on quite a lot. Corn oil was no good, but olive oil was better.
Here is the result. It could be the first image for the abstract project I have to do for my photo class.
