Passing by this barn
The weather today was a bit of a challenge. Light showers were forecast, but it rained most of the day and when it wasn't raining it was sleeting. The winds were not as high as last night but still quite troublesome.
Despite that a group of us embarked on the regular Haltwhistle Walk. We parked at Rowfoot and enjoyed a circular walk. Near Featherstone Castle on the South Tyne we passed a barn that is open on one side. There are three windows on the other and I was struck by the way they provided frames for the landscape beyond. Here is one of them.
We were early to the pub and then L and I went to M and B's where we saw their India photos and had an excellent meal. Nearly asleep now - off to bed.
