2019 Monday — Visitors

Karen (driving) and her mom, Phyllis, stopped for just a few moments so we could all take a photo together. We had met them last Monday afternoon at Polly’s Pies and the photo from that day did not turn out to be very good.

Karen’s mom is here from the Cleveland, Ohio area. She will be heading back to Ohio this Thursday. She has been here since late January. She used to live in SoCal and after she was widowed, she moved in with Karen and Karen’s first husband Jim. When Jim died unexpected in 2005, Phyllis moved back to Ohio several months later to live near her son. Ohio was their original home. A year later Karen married Dick. His wife, Trudy, had died from Cancer approximately four months before Jim, and we’ve all been in the same circle of friends for years.
