2020 Wednesday — Appendicitis

Tristan has appendicitis. He and his mom and baby sister Emillia are at Scripps Medical in San Diego waiting to be transferred to the children’s hospital and find out about surgery.

He was finally given pain medication and is feeling okay now. He was at school this morning when the pain started and his mom was called at noon.

Update: Surgery will be tomorrow (Thursday) morning or early afternoon.

We think Desiree is overwhelmed, which is to be expected. Her husband is deployed with the U.S.Navy. So she has her hands full with 3 kiddos to look after. Tonight she has little Jade at a friend’s house and Emillia is with Desiree in the hospital.

We told her that we would pack the 3 pups and come there. We could get a motel room, and Great Grandpa Fun could stay in the hospital all night with Tristan, but Grandpa has a very important medical appointment tomorrow afternoon here in Riverside, so we would need to get back for that. She insisted that we not come. That she would be okay.
