Thank goodness.

I am very glad I brought black books with me, or I'd be preety bored! First "real" day of placement at Crosshouse, the staff are all very friendly, just getting used to their system and the digital unit (having been at liberton last week where I think the x ray machine may have be older than me...) On the downside I didn't really sleep thanks to being roasted alive despite having both windows open, then when I did, being woken by the bin lorry and the joy riders or whatever the heck was going on during the night. On the upside, soup (really good soup) is 60p in the canteen.

Like the rock and roll students that we are, we headed straight for the library. I managed 3 hours, but my stomach got the better of me and I had to admit defeat and retreat back to roasty toasty flat to make dinner. With no internet, I'm relying on staying in the library for as long as I can without eating the person next to me, making dinner, eating dinner, then hopefully only have an hour max to kill to avoid having a toddlers bedtime. And that hour I can fill with a couple of episodes of black books.

I don't understand why it's upside down...
