The stunning south coast of Crete

As the main road to the south side of Crete reopened again, we did want to have a look where we originally would have stayed. So today we drove to Plakias and, indeed, the south coast is every bit as spectacular as I remembered. A shame we were not able to fully explore this side of the island. But the main road still bore the marks of sink holes and landslides and the smaller roads were still quite treacherous to navigate.
