Death Star

I saw Mum off at the train station then went over to the new Death Star hospital to visit a friend.

It's a crazy ass building!

I was pretty shocked to find my friend in a much worse state than I'd imagined. He's really been through the mill with a risky procedure going horribly wrong. All his usual bluster and bravado has momentarily gone and he's just scared at the moment. Poor soul.

Stayed a good wee while with him then did a few jobs I'd put off, then home to doodle.
