Frosty the Ice Cream...

...Cake!

Ice cream cake is not a concept that I have been particularly aware of before, at least no more than a vague knowledge that such a thing existed. It was certainly not something that I would have thought about getting! However, when asked a few weeks ago what they would like for their Christmas party - ice cream cake is exactly what our Rainbows asked for!

A cake made almost entirely of ice cream, minus one tiny thin piece of cake running throughout - cool! In the shape of a snowman and from S. Luca - even better!

Really fun evening with a group of really sweet, fun girls :) Myself and one of the other leaders were chatting after and saying that doing something like this on a Friday evening can be a risk business, but it's actually something we both really look forward to at the end of the week :)

Managed to get a wee bit of work done, in between a trip to the nurse for a wee blood test (the immediate after pain of which was worse than the flu jab!) and falling asleep on the couch mid-afternoon...woops!

I also seem to have won myself a Playhouse goodie bag (my favourite feature of which is the rather cosy and spacious hoody) and also had received a voucher from O2 for being with them for 3 years - free chocolates from Hotel Chocolat!

Plans for a study-free day and time with lovely friends tomorrow... :)
