Hannah, Helen & Harvey Nic's

Hooray :)

I have been looking forward to this day :) Spent the morning with Hannah wandering around the Edinburgh Farmers' Market and various cute shops. The market provided us with lots of samples and we managed to restrain ourselves to just two purchases - Christmas scones and mulled raspberry/strawberry juice. The mulled juice was perhaps one of the nicest mulled drinks I have tried yet :)

This was followed by an afternoon with Helen for visits to the Christmas market, Jenners' Christmas tree and John Lewis' Christmas ad snowman :) Some time was also spent in Harvey Nichols - a bizarre world in which you suddenly find yourself saying that the price of a £995 dress is "not too bad". Well...in comparison with the £2000+ dresses it wasn't! We even sneaked in a wee cuppa in the restaurant... :)

Helen had also brought me one of her Christmas cupcakes...delicious!

Such a fun day...one of a few that has made up for not seeing enough of people over this past semester :)
