Night and Day

Dear Diary,

Another 4 inches fell yesterday, which isn't much really but added to the huge piles we already had it is too much.  Matt will be by this morning to shovel and that includes shoveling the snow away from the windows so I can see out!  This little sugar jar was made by a former student of mine back in 1999.  (It is in front of Mom's sugar jar, circa 1944)  I thought it fitting as we turned the clocks ahead one hour on Sunday and are now in Daylight Savings Time...night becomes day.
