Minty meets Tom Weir

After yesterday's dreadful weather, the sunshine and blue sky this morning was such a lovely surprise that I risked taking the car down to Balmaha for a walk with Minty blip.

Tom Weir had lost his red woolly bobble hat, but had acquired a tartan scarf to keep him warm. 

Extra 1   -   No boats to be seen in the loch in the background above; we found them down in the boatyard.


Extra 2   -   Delighted to find one of the forest walks re-routed and open again after years of tree-felling which has opened up the view of Conic Hill.
