"Daisy" on the Canal

Over the years that our son S has lived in Stratford on Avon we have stayed many times in the Premier Inn and we always try to get a room with a good view of the canal.

This canal boat had just negotiated the lock gate and it is always interesting to watch how the system works.

Earlier I had seen one of the resident swans making its way to the dining room window and doing lots of neck stretching to attract attention - I think it must be used to getting fed.

Now back home after our 7 hour drive up the M6 etc.
