Beaching

Another beautiful day here, so after a slow start we spent the afternoon down at the beach. It was low tide, and an extremely low tide it was...we had to walk a long way to get to the water. Once we were down there, the girls had mud fights with their friends who had met us down there. We stayed down there all afternoon, just hanging out, digging in the sand, and finding creatures in the rock pools and gradually being chased in by the tide.

We invited the family who met us down there over for a BBQ tea. It's been a lovely afternoon and evening. Summer bliss.
