And the band played on...

A new experience for me - going to a wedding on my own. The bride and groom were unfortunately unable to invite children, so Mr G stayed at home with the Little Gs and I went solo. It was a lovely day, despite the weather, and it was great to catch up with some old friends, and really rather nice to be able to stay past the meal at a wedding for the first time since having children. The band were very good. Didn't feel much like dancing on my own, though, and was just about ready for my taxi at 9.30. Home before pumpkin time, just about, which I find is important now.
