Cold morning, Westminster Bridge

Windy and chilly in London first thing, on another day of high drama and low farce.

When I went in to give evidence to the Scottish Affairs Select Committee it was still moderately quiet around College Green but two hours later it was buzzing with all sorts of demonstrations and flags.

You got the best view of it from one of the elevated temporary studios that have been set up there and I took the extra photo just before I was interviewed on Sky News.

Then it was back to Edinburgh on the train , arriving just in time to watch the archaic voting practices of Westminster and the crippling chaos which is consuming and strangling UK politics.
