A random turkey feather in the morning sun...

Dear Diary,

How do I love photograph thee, let me count the ways.  (My apologies to Browning.)  This has been the year for photographing my turkeys.  Tootsie came up onto the porch to scoff some peanuts and I was able to get this close-up.  I just love the little feather sticking up.  It seemed so out of place.  I even made a little video of her running across the snow covered field when I called her.  I think she might even let me pat her but I would be a wee bit worried that she would want to hop up into my lap!
