Apparition

I was at a book launch this evening for the monograph of an excavation I participated in more than a decade ago (sometimes it takes a while for these things to be written up). Trudi and I took the opportunity to get to the pub in Eartham early and have dinner beforehand. It was good to catch up with everyone and I’m looking forward to digging very near to the original site again this summer.

The lovely pub was The George, by the way, and the food was excellent.
