Flower

It was chucking it down when I drove to work, with high winds. The Humber Bridge remained closed all day. It was busy, but we are making progress. I had some good meetings, and a productive phone call. At the end of the day, one of my team remarked how much better they felt with my leadership. I was really taken aback, and it was lovely to hear. 

When I left my old job, one of my colleagues gave me a potted plant kit, a bowl, the compost, and five bulbs. I took it to the office. I'm not green fingered, but I had a go, planted it, and today it bloomed for the first time, as these flowers began to emerge.
