Heart warming!

A trip to Birmingham to the NEC to attend the Sewing for Pleasure and the Creative Craft exhibitions.

These two young ladies were checking in at the same time as me. Most of the attendees are 40/50 yrs plus, and many considerably older. So to see these youngsters enjoying the show, gives hope that skills and knowledge will be passed on to future generations.

An interesting day, with restrained purchasing, got what I needed, plus a handbag!!.......don’t ask!!!!

Although there were 39 ladies and 2 gents on the coach, I always do the wandering on my own. Refreshment breaks are interesting, as ladies who take up vacant seats at the tables are always chatty. We are a sociable bunch:0)

One of the subjects was ‘the Sewing Bee’. No one is impressed with latest series and we had plenty of suggestions as to how to improve it !!!
