The Souk

We decided to ring the changes and go for an eastern look with the gingerbread construction this year. It took most of the day, but we are pretty happy with the result. I can recommend the BBC Gingerbread house recipe, it it comes out really sturdy, a bit like ginger snaps, and, as well as being a great construction material, tastes fabulous.

So that has pretty much been my day, we had a delivery of fire wood, much needed as the wind is still howling outside. Now watching Strictly (which I don't make a habit of) with two of my lovely daughters.
