Flora

Well, in typical Shetland fashion, after the gales of the last two days today was lovely. We finally got the ponies out for a short ride (well, the lasses rode, I hobbled alongside). Flora and Misty seemed none the worse for the wild weather, and they certainly haven't lost much weight on their winter pasture - wasn't sure the girth was going to go round.

This was after putting the tree up, although it isn't decorated yet, and before going to the local community Christmas Party. It was great to see the number of little ones there, no danger of our village dying out with the rate reproduction is happening!

So all in all a lovely day, although Elsie reckoned it hadn't been a very good Sunday as there was only sausages, beans and tatties for tea. She is hard to please.
