Euphorbia
This low growing euphorbia seems to thrive wherever it is, including places where nothing much else wants to grow. These ones are occupying a dryish back of a border and are advancing quite quickly across the rest of the space, so will need curbing before they overcome everything else. At this time of year the flower heads look as if they're spectators at some sort of event, and the colour provides a good foil for the nearby daffodils, and, later, tulips.
