Daffodils
Another daffodil blip. These are a small variety growing on the riverbank, and look a little like the wild narcissus, except that they don't have the paler yellow outer petals (are they petals, or sepals, or what?) of the wild variety. So I suspect that they may have been planted deliberately, especially as there are two clumps of obviously cultivated daffodils nearby, and a bench not too far off.
Lovely as they are, I'm not sure that I wouldn't rather see just wild flowers on the riverbank; escapees, whether assisted or not, don't really seem to belong in the wild.
