Wet

Torrential rain and wind all day.
Rebecca had some market research to do over in Manchester and l said l would go with her as we hardly ever get chance to have some mother/daughter time on our own.
The journey that should have taken less than an hour took nearly three and a half hours.
The motorway was flooded and we were directed off and we travelled some of it on flooded B roads and spent a lot of time queuing, well it gave us a long time to talk!
Her business took less than an hour and we came back on the M62 and this time it was less than an hour but awful driving conditions

Mr P had been to the gym, met with one of the athletes he coaches and was watching the rugby.
Made a roasted vegetable lasagne for supper .
Just going to have a toasted hot cross bun and a cuppa then watch Netflix, happy to be inside in the dry and warmth.
