In contrast to yesterday's blip........Christmas arrived today.

Up and out early to see the boys......no fishing tomorrow.....Shaun has injured his back........the ponds have been frozen all week....even if it all thaws the cold water will send the fish into semi-hibernation.....and the weather forecast is poor.

Christmas shopping on the way home......Secret Santa gift check.....presents for the lab techs check......present for the cleaner check.......gifts for D and V and B and S check....turkey check......extra secret gift for the Boss check.....gifts for Office staff check....large tub of Haribo for under the tree check.....box of Christmas crackers check.

Home......woke the Boss....out for a tree....got a cracker....dark green....really good shape.

Afternoon activities.......hang lights in conservatory......hang mistletoe......put up outside lights (a new LED set this year)...decorate tree (mainly the Daughter with help from Charlie).....dinner for all of us.

Now it's quiet and I'm waiting for Match of the Day and savouring a newly discovered delight.....Jack Daniel's Honey......wonderful.......as my Uncle Joe used to say "That's too good for poor people".
