Long, long day

It's been a long day. We left home at about 11am to take a drive up to Methlick, in Aberdeenshire. It was a long drive, not helped by the SatNav insisting we go through Aberdeen city centre in the middle of a Christmas shopping Saturday afternoon or the flooded roads leading into the village, but I think it was worth it. Only time will tell.

We got home nine hours later and managed a couple of hours slumped on the sofa with a drink or two. The blip opportunity I thought I might get today didn't happen, so it will have to wait until our next trip to Aberdeenshire in January and tonight we'll make do with the first thing I saw dangling from my Christmas tree at 11:30pm.
