Derelict Bananas

Normally I look for dereliction in buildings or outside in the countryside. Today I looked at these sad looking bananas and I thought why not post these?! They look ready for the compost! However, I like a bit of dereliction in my bananas. It allows me to make my son's favourite muffins - banana choc chip (see extra).

There's always a use for something. Don't judge a book by its cover. Don't discount something old and weathered. The magic it contains might make you smile - or lick your lips in this case. Happy dereliction!
