Wibble

Actually I had a violent wobble when my neighbour's 'gardener' (man with vanful of electric and motorised garden equipment and thinks that pruning a 3ft Smokebush that is just about to come into glorious flower with a hedge trimmer is good gardening) told her that the beautiful white lilac tree at the front of the house was rotten and needed to be felled. Actually just one branch had snapped in storm Gareth and was otherwise in perfect health. I had to remove myself from the vicinity.
A six mile walk and 2 hrs later it looked ghastly without the tree.
Am I abnormal?
