Lavender Shadows

A hedge of lavender caught my eye some weeks ago and I had been meaning to go and capture a few images of this heady creation and today I finally did on my way home from the Farmers Market.

Unfortunately the midday sun was against me and I was not happy with the results - all washed out and very novice like. However the hedge of shadow on the asphalt footpath was a fine second thought...
