Tootsie Takes a Nap

Dear Diary,

Our sunny but cold weather continues.  Hard to believe it is the first day of spring, it's only 5F this morning.  My ever faithful Tootsie stays close and takes a nap in the sun by the potting shed.  Just look how she rolls up her feathers around her neck to stay warm!  Tillie and Trixie weren't here yesterday but I can always count on Tootsie to come calling for breakfast. Although they promise milder weather this week, they are also promising more snow on Friday.  I guess winter just doesn't want to leave us!
