The garden pond 2

Another blip of our garden pond. On the first day of Spring there is still no sign of animal life although Ian saw a solitary frog the other day.

It's been a very grey day and not at all Spring like. The daffodils in the grass verges look beautiful against the green of the grass.

The leaves are budding on the trees and the willows in the chicken field are taking on a green hue. The fruit trees are starting to blossom. Perhaps it really is Spring.
