Morelia Decorations

A quick trip to the big city of Morelia, four hours by auto from our home in Zihuatanejo. It was fun to see the Christmas decorations throughout the central historic district. Even more so, because we booked a room right on the main plaza across from the Basilica so we could see them at night. At 2,000 or so meters, Morelia is much colder than our sea-level town, but we persevered and enjoyed a delicious dinner at one of the outdoor restaurants followed by hot chocolate at another - all the while marveling at the historic buildings accented by the beautiful lights on display.
