Reproachful?

How COULD I go to London for the night and leave Jess?

It was great - dinner and dancing with Maxine and Jo at Boisdale where we were treated to great music, champagne and a chauffeur drive home by the very lovely Pete Long who I've known for years but haven't seen for ages. Pete started his working career in a bank and is now a successful Jazz band leader and musician. He leads the band at Ronnie Scotts forgodssake... I'm so impressed!

The London prices made me wince a lot, but another bottle of wine soon put that worry to bed and Maxine and I spent a further couple of hours or so after getting back to her house looking up old boyfriends from that era on the internet. Matt and Matt haven't you done well...but where has the hair gone!

Fiona we missed you.

Back to Cambridge after a quick visit to IKEA and then straight out to lunch with the Linton Jazz band.

I've had a very jazzy weekend!
