Tulip

Today my abdominal muscles are aching after the gym class yesterday.

This morning I spent a couple of hours pottering in the garden - weeding and generally tidying up the bed on the edge of the oak terrace.  It's great to see all the new growth - alliums, lupins etc etc once the weeds are removed.

Then I spent some time pottering in the house - watered the plants in the garden room and tidied away some "stuff" that was lying around.  Sorted out the cut flowers, throwing out this and several other tulips that were dropping their petals, and most of these daffs.

Really I should be making a start on the boxes of photos behind me - but I think I might put that off until after our Swedish road trip.
