Yard 77

A drizzly shopping trip into Kendal. Sheltered in the illustrated Old Police Office Yard and opted for a dry photo. The collage shows the end of the yard opening onto Market Square.   The illustrations were done in 2016 as part of the restoration of the yard.  Having checked the history I find that the other end of the yard used to house the police cells.  I promise to go and  investigate another day and see what they are used for now.
