Worm Moon

Today I had a day off and signed up dozens of households to take part in hedgehog research over the next 6 months. Each household will get a footprint tunnel, hedgehog food and other equipment which they’ll use for a month to help survey hedgehog numbers in our area. After that we’ll help everyone make holes in fences and walls to encourage hedgehog highways, and to remove rubbish dangers such as netting, before we do the survey again.

In evening I was out onToad Patrol and in between trying to recruit someone with the right skill set to go to Mozambique for the flood response. Ulrich is now finishing his time out doing DIY for friends and tomorrow will be on a plane to Southern Africa to take over the coordination of the response,
