Extreme Parking?
Always smile when I pass this garage in Aberuthven, but have never had a chance to take a photo before. However, today we had to pass it en route to Auchterarder so we stopped so I could get my blip!
We went to look at a picture I had seen for sale online and we liked it and bought it. May blip it another time once it is hung.
It was very convenient, as we were on our way to Stirling this morning for a cookery demonstration by a Neff "Master Partner" in a kitchen showroom. There were about 24 guests and we enjoyed learning what the ovens and induction hobs could do. We inherited Neff ovens with the new house, which were quite different to the older ones I'd had before, so it was interesting to learn about all the different functions. I have tended to use just one or two of them (a bit like having your camera on Auto most of the time!)
We were also invited to eat the results of the cooking, so we had starters of crispy chicken balls and sticky sausages, a main of salmon fillet with a crispy herb crust and vegetables and a pudding of hot cross buns and custard (like a bread and butter pudding). Plus a couple of oat cookies for good measure! A small portion of each, I have to say, but we certainly didn't need any lunch when we came out:-)
It was such a nice day that we drove on towards Fintry in the hope of seeing the spectacular views from the top of the hill. It was a bit too misty to see well, but the views were still lovely (see Extras). A quick stop for coffee and cake at the Woodhouse, then across country to Doune and Dunblane before picking up the A9 to Perth.
What a lovely day and it's not over yet, as we plan to go out to the local hall this evening to see a film (if we can get in - not sure if we should have booked!) Mama Mia 2 here we come:-)
Decided to enter this for Silly Saturday, so many thanks to admirer for hosting.
