Finishers' medals

Another very busy day in London. The weather was glorious and after the morning service at Westminster Abbey we wondered around the city and came across the finishing line of the London Half Marathon. I take my hat off to those who managed to complete the distance!
Having clapped and encouraged those at the back of the pack we took ourselves off for a rather delightful afternoon tea in the Marriot Hotel in County Hall. A perfect way to end a lovely weekend with a very special friend. To complete my joy I managed to get an earlier train and a seat to get home an hour ahead of schedule!
