To leave or not to leave that is the question

We obviously didn't know this would be happening when we booked our trip a few weeks ago but the city was very busy as we headed to the Royal Academy. The demonstrators were good humoured and some of the placards were very imaginative - others less so! I liked this view as the marchers made their way down to a rather wrapped up Big Ben in the distance with the horse statue looking to be joining in.
At the RA we saw an exhibition of the Renaissance nude with works by Titian, Raphael, Michelangelo, Leonardo, Durer and Cranach with a commentary by Stephen Fry - all very interesting.
In the evening we saw 'Witness for the Prosecution' which was staged in the Council Chamber of County Hall. The setting was fantastic and really added to this classic Agatha Christie drama.
A very memorable day!
