The Courts NT (Tuesday 26th March 2019)

I've waited awhile for suitable weather to visit The Courts gardens in Holt to see the new Japanese bridge built since my last visit. The journeys there and back were rather fraught due to roadworks, traffic jams and road closures and the time I spent there was less than half an hour because my absurdly over-sensitive hearing couldn't cope with a shrieking game of hide and seek being played by some small kids throughout.
However I did get some pleasing shots of the magnolias, spring blossom and various plants as well as the aforementioned bridge, as shown.

On their weekend shows Radcliffe and Maconie have a feature called Sampled Underfoot, in which they play something that has been sampled, followed by the familiar song that features the sample. This weekend the original that was sampled was this. As the show is broadcast from seven in the morning I tend to play it back much later, hence hearing this on this day. You'll know the section that was lifted from it when it comes in.
