Monarch Migration

One of the goals of this trip is to find birds migrating north through Louisiana.  Today, at Fontainebleau State Park and Big Branch Marsh National Wildlife Refuge, we also saw Monarchs.  Our first encounter with them was on the long bridge crossing Lake Pontchartrain, where the unfortunate few fly right into the windshield.  I wish this one safe travels (hopefully on its way to Maryland).  Thank you fellow blippers, for another awesome day together!
