Subdued Lighting

One of the things that I really like about West Barns, our village is its Christmas Lights. They are low-key but really effective. Also the Christmas Tree (not pictured here) is actually a large living tree that sits on a small village green and its lights can be seen from far off on the A1 dual carriage way, so this is a nice welcome when you travel back at night time. (maybe the subject of another future blip)

I have maybe spoilt the effect her by including lights trails from an early morning shoot but I am a sucker for these lovely bright lights streaming through the photo.
